The highly requested one-shot Sniper Rifles are finally on their way to Warzone 2, but the developers have shared their thoughts on the addition.
The Season 2 update for Warzone 2 has brought a plethora of changes, including new weapons and the Ashika Island map, which players will undoubtedly be testing out. However, there’s a crucial piece of information that they shouldn’t overlook: in Warzone 2, no sniper rifle has been capable of a one-shot kill since its inception, which is a significant nerf compared to their damage output in the original Warzone.
Players have long been requesting for this feature to be added and it appears that their wish may finally be granted in Season 2.
The developers mentioned that one-shot Sniper Rifles will finally be introduced to Warzone 2. However, there is a significant caveat to this addition, as the mechanic will only be available in a new playlist. They did state that they are not currently planning to activate that feature for all modes.
The name of the new playlist has not been revealed yet, but it will enable Sniper Rifles in Warzone 2 to deliver one-shot kills to players. Although specifics are yet to be disclosed, it’s likely that this will necessitate a precise shot to the enemy’s head.
